This graphic designer position is part of the Creative Services staff in a corporate environment. The graphic design team develops and designs various marketing & sales collateral, as well as a wide variety of Creative Services projects for print publication, in-house production, and web usage. This position is responsible for the development of creative ideas and campaigns that translate marketing objectives into creative and effective concepts and production.
Marketing collateral includes:
· Business-to-business sales materials
· Web promotional campaigns
· Retail POP
· Special event materials
· Miscellaneous projects
· Strong skills in Mac CS3 or 4 (InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator), Excel, PowerPoint and/or Keynote.
Majority of projects involve production of recurring publications.
Position requires that applicant have:
· A minimum of five (5) years experience in graphic design (with print publications).
· Experience in web design and a Bachelor’s degree in design, or related design discipline, preferred.
· Experience in Premiere, a plus.

VPD, a Folsom-based national video wholesale distributor, is looking for a qualified individual to work in the Operations Division as a Distribution Services rep. Duties would begin with Fulfillment & Direct-to-Consumer services which include but are not limited to: Customer service-issue resolution, shipping, returns, inventory management,billing, exception reporting, edi monitoring, edi order release, etc. Additional carrier-related tasks may include: mis-shipment and claim resolution, Direct Ship billing, freight charge backs, Carrier TNT or POD research and some month end reporting.
The position could lead into increasingly complex job responsibilities such as but not limited to: performing project cost analysis, package freight analysis, developing computer needs assessments, understanding standard operating procedures and suggesting changes when applicable, large customer project management, expense tracking and more.
The successful applicant should possess excellent analytical, communication and computer skills (Excel and Access). VPD offers a competitive starting rate and great benefits after 90 days.
